Self-described “Swedish bubblegum emo” band Tribe Friday’s newest single “Sleepwalk” is this week’s Catch of the Week. Started as an afterschool project by Swedish teens who wanted to escape the boredom of living in rural Scandinavia, Tribe Friday presents an exciting blend of power pop, indie rock, and garage rock revival, channeling bands like The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys. Evoking feelings of angst and hope, “Sleepwalk” is a perfect single to soundtrack this past year.
