Mayor Whalen talks about this week’s appointments to various committees and commissions in town, as well as the possibility of either adding a sub-committee, or splitting the Housing and Human Services Committee into two separate committees, and what that process would look like. We also discuss a program being instituted in several cities across the OC to help local police departments in dealing with the homeless. Mayor Whalen discusses whether the Council would consider such a program to lend help to our current Community Outreach officers.
