Mayor Whalen talks about the urgency for the City to come up with a defensible space plan, before January, when we would be subject to the State’s restrictions. We also discuss the City taking ownership of the South Laguna beaches from the County, and the process of getting grant money from the State’s 1.5 billion dollar wildfire fund, for specific wildfire mitigation projects.
