Today’s program pays tribute tribute to a friend of mine that was taken from us this week, Victor Levy. Vic was, perhaps, my longest continual listener going back to 2004 or so. Every Saturday like clockwork Vic would check in on Facebook from Staten Island, NY and we would have a dialog during my show. Vic was a Vietnam Veteran and Marine who leaves behind 2 children David & Sarah. We never met in person, he was childhood friend of Es. For about 15 years we shared a love for Music on Facebook. Saturday afternoons have not felt the same since he became ill in February. I’ll be serving up some of his favorite groups including tunes from Allman Brothers, A-ha, Mountain, Led Zeppelin, Velvet Underground, Tim Buckley, The Beatles, Kinks, McCoy Tyner, Jefferson Airplane, Buffalo Springfield, Jean Luc Ponty, Love, Joni Mitchell, Crosby Stills & Nash, Richie Havens, Ray LaMontagne and Loggins & Messina.
