Coming about during the ’80s-steeped heyday of chill-wave in the early ’10s, Twin Shadow’s newest single is an upbeat exploration of Caribbean horns and calypso rhythms. Described by the artist as a ballad of two lovers escaping to New Orleans to start a new life, this single paints a portrait of sun-bleached beaches and palm trees.
