Official Rules
This 1964 Mustang Raffle is being conducted by Laguna Radio Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
Ticket purchaser must be 18 years of age or older to participate and must have a valid Social Security number.
There is no limit to the number of tickets one (1) person may purchase.
Laguna Radio Inc board members and their spouses are not eligible to participate in this raffle.
Raffle tickets are $25 each or five for $100. Raffle tickets may be purchased at KX935.com or in-person at 1833 S Coast Hwy #200 Laguna Beach, CA 92651 cash, credit checks or money order (made payable to Laguna Radio Inc). Should the purchaser’s check not be honored by the bank, the ticket will become void and withdrawn from the drawing.
By IRS declaration, ticket purchases for valuable prizes are not eligible for charitable tax deductions.
All ticket order forms must be received with full payment no later than the time of the drawing on Oct 6, 2019 to be entered into the drawing. Laguna Radio Inc will not extend ticket sales beyond current drawing date of Oct 6, 2019 or beyond a maximum of 5,000 tickets sold, whichever comes first.
Prize: One prize will be given away. First Prize: 1964.5 Ford Mustang. The car will be valued at $30,000 for tax-purposes.
Drawing will be held at the Taste of Laguna Food & Music Festival Oct 3. The winner will be determined by random drawing.
Winners need not be present to win. Winners will be notified by via phone and certified return receipt mail within 7 days of the drawing, and will be posted on the KX FM 104.7 website.
The prize winner is solely responsible for all local, state and federal taxes, title, transfer fees, license duties, insurance and all expenses incurred in claiming the Ford Mustang. The Internal Revenue Service requires that any prizes valued at $600 or more be issued a Form W-2G, and requires that 25% of total winnings be withheld for federal taxes on prizes of $5,000 or more. The First Prize winner understands, acknowledges, and agrees that the First Prize winner is receiving a prize and will hereby release and discharge Laguna Radio Inc, and any additional sponsors, their employees, agents, officers, directors and legal representatives and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses arising from or caused by the award of such prize, including, but not limited to the payment of any and all taxes that are due.
Prize must be claimed within 30 days of drawing. Any unclaimed prize after that date will constitute forfeiture and be transferred to Laguna Radio Inc as a donation.
Laguna Radio Inc, its Board of Directors, and its agents assume no liability for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, or entries without payment which will be deemed invalid and disqualified.
The decisions and rules of Laguna Radio Inc are final on all matters concerning the raffle.
By purchasing a Ticket and choosing to participate in the raffle, each raffle participant acknowledges and agrees that Laguna Radio Inc has the right, in its sole discretion, to elect not to proceed with the raffle for any reason whatsoever or for no reason, and in such event, a participant’s sole and exclusive remedy shall be to receive a refund of the full price paid by such participant for each ticket purchased, without interest.
