Live Music Laguna Beach Sound The Sea Marine RoomThis month, KX is excited to present two local talents, bluesy rockers Jeramiah Red & singer/songwriter Josh Damigo.

OC Natives Jeramiah Red‘s boot-stomping combination of blues guitar, steel-driven harmonica, and raucous vocals, creates a perfect storm that continues to impress live audiences and legitimize the five-piece as one of Southern California’s top up and comers.
Their first EP, “Ghost Tracks from the Getty” earned Jeramiah Red awards in the categories of “Best New Artist,” and “Best Blues” at the 2012 Orange County Music Awards, and “Best Rock” at the 2013 ceremony.
Their debut single, “My Baby,” plays at the Honda Center every time the Anaheim Ducks win a game, inciting the arena with the driving riffs and infectious melodies that have become the cornerstone of JRED’s sound.

After a traumatic family incident, San Diego native Josh Damigo retreated inward, and ended up writing what would ultimately become his breakout debut, “Raw”. The album was true to its name and people noticed – Josh picked up two San Diego Music Awards for “Best Acoustic” and “Best Local Recording,” opened for the likes of Zac Brown, Jason Mraz, Eric Hutchinson, and Matt Nathanson, and toured the country a few times over.
