“I am into self-help and motivational speakers, I think positive words help when I write, and I try to kind of write to make myself feel better,” said the indie-electronic band Hoonch in a recent interview on KX FM 104.7 FM’s “Daily Scramble Live.”
In the interview, Hoonch goes into detail about their split from the band WALLA as well as their shared song “101”. The band discusses their feelings about the success they have had and as shown in the quote above their writing process for songs including “Top”. One of the band members mentions his struggle with addiction and how he hopes to both help himself as well as others with his lyrics.
