Teams attempting to free a blue whale from crab trap lines were unsuccessful in Dana Point with boats losing sight of the animal Monday night. Firefighters expect to fully contain a fire that charred 50 acres of brush and reopen the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park by this weekend.
