Mayor Bob Whalen 12-17-20

Mayor Whalen addresses Laguna’s collective attempts to help support local businesses and restaurants, and the many ways to do it. We also look at the County’s skyrocketing numbers forcing the closure of the Sawdust Festival, and the possible affect the numbers might have on the Farmer’s Market. We also ask how much of the 542 Million dollars the County has received in Federal assistance, has found its way to Laguna, and what effect, if any would direct solicitation from the nation’s mayors have on Congress? The Mayor also addresses the importance of finding emotional support for those individuals feeling despondent, or helpless this holiday season. And finally, we discuss the very busy agenda for the Council in January.
